In fact, the valving is designed and tested to survive over one million on/off cycles without failure.

Tarnish, Scratch, and Corrosion Resistant
For further durability, this Pekoe faucet features brass construction, which is ideal for prolonged contact with water. Brass also provides the finest surface for application of colors and finishes. In fact, the faucet's finish is tarnish-, scratch- and corrosion-resistant, thanks to a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process that makes the lustrous finish a part of the faucet, not an outside coating.
